Configure warranty coverage term rows including duration, pricing, and custom price tiers.
Coverage Terms
Each coverage term is a duration-and-price combination that appears as a product variant in your Shopify store (e.g., 1-year at $29, 2-year at $49).
Terms Table Fields
Each row in the terms table contains:

| Variant Title | Display name (e.g., “1 Year Coverage”) |
| Time Length | Numeric duration value |
| Time Unit | day, week, month, year, or lifetime |
| Price Type | Flat Rate or Percentage |
| Price Amount | Fixed dollar amount or percentage of product price |
| Description | Optional — click the row to expand and add details |
| Image URL | Optional — overrides the plan logo for this tier |
Adding and Removing Terms
Click Add Term below the table. The system pre-fills defaults based on the previous term (incremented duration, proportional price). To remove a term, click the remove button on that row.
Price Types
Flat Rate — A fixed dollar amount regardless of product price. Uses 1 Shopify variant per term. Best for stores with a narrow product price range.
Percentage — Scales with the product price (e.g., 8% of a $500 product = $40 warranty). Uses approximately 33 Shopify variants per term. Best for stores with wide price ranges. Requires price tiers to define the price buckets.
Custom Price Tiers
When using percentage pricing, enable Custom Price Tiers to define exact price buckets:

| Max Price | Maximum product price for this tier |
| Warranty Price | Warranty cost for products in this range |
If you do not enable custom tiers, the system auto-generates evenly distributed buckets from your product catalog.
AI-Assisted Pricing
For percentage terms, click the sparkle icon to get a pricing suggestion based on your product catalog, coverage duration, and industry benchmarks. Suggestions are optional — accept, modify, or ignore them.
Plan-Type Variations
OEM Warranty — All terms are locked to Flat Rate at $0.00. You set the duration only.
Shipping Protection — A single term with a default of 15 days. You can adjust the duration and price but cannot add multiple terms.
